Mapping Flood Protection Zones and Evacuation Routes to Improve Response Capabilities: A case study of Morogoro Tanzania
Awarded as a Youth-led project organized by the APFM & IDMP joint programs of the World Meteorological Organization and Global Water Partnership in partnership with the Water Youth Network, GeoTE Tanzania, and YouthMappers is focused on extending the data-gathering process in Tanzania, especially to the Ifakara town council and Morogoro Municipality using the community-gathered data to map flood protection zones and evacuation routes using GIS techniques.
